Kim joined Gobi in 2010 following 35 years experience in the academic bookselling industry. He began his career in publishing then became the Mountain-Plains Regional Manager at Midwest Library Service in 1980. In 1990, he joined Blackwell as Regional Sales Manager for their Mountain-Plains territory. Kim held several positions during his tenure at Blackwell including Director of Sales for Western North America, Vice President of Customer Experience, Vice President of Marketing, and from 2007 until joining Gobi, he was Blackwell’s Chief Bibliographer.
