Kristin Antelman is the University Librarian at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) with administrative responsibility for the Library and Archives. Prior to joining Caltech in 2014, she was the Associate Director for the Digital Library at North Carolina State University Libraries. While at NC State, she oversaw the technology program for the new James B. Hunt Jr. Library, which was received the 2014 Stanford Prize for Innovation in Research Libraries. Kristin has also served as project lead for the Mellon-funded Global Open Knowledgebase (GOKb) project and the IMLS-funded Learning Space Toolkit. Kristin has published several articles on open access, including "Do Open Access Articles Have a Greater Research Impact?" Her current interests include the development of strategies and tools for research libraries to support management of the transition to open access.
