Denise Novak is a senior librarian and Acquisitions Librarian for the Carnegie Mellon University Libraries. She is currently a member of the American Library Association Council. She is a former president of NASIG, served two terms as treasurer of NASIG, and has served on committees and task forces of several professional library organizations. She received her BA from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and a Master’s Degree in Library Science from Texas Woman’s University, Denton, TX.
