Laurie Baumgardner hails from New York. She holds a BS in Library Science and Business from University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh; an MLS in Information Management from George Peabody College at Vanderbilt University; and has worked towards a M.Div. on two continents. During her 30 plus years of librarianship, she has used NOTIS, SirsiDynix, ExLibris, and most recently, Innovative Sierra and Millennium. This is her seventh year as Head of Acquisitions for Gardner-Webb University. GWU migrated to WMS in July of 2015.
