In 2012, Get It Now was implemented at Bradley University to supplement the serials collection which had undergone significant cuts. For the most part, this effort succeeded. Since then, the Bradley librarians have analyzed the yearly usage statistics from all three of document delivery methods; Get It Now, ILLiad and purchases directly from the publisher. Using this data, comparisons have been made between subscription costs of individual journal titles versus the pay-on-demand cost incurred via document delivery. This process has resulted in the addition of individual titles that have high user demand. Bradley University was among the first universities to implement Get It Now, and this is one of the first studies to use its statistics as a collection development tool.
